About the Role:

Join the leadership team at a brand-new recreational cannabis dispensary in downtown Sterling! We're seeking an experienced Assistant Manager to help build a best-in-class dispensary operation. This is a unique opportunity to grow with the company from day one.

What You’ll Do:

• Oversee daily store operations and support the General Manager
• Supervise budtenders, delegate tasks, and lead by example
• Maintain full compliance with Colorado MED rules and store SOPs
• Assist with hiring, onboarding, scheduling, and team development
• Provide exceptional customer service and resolve escalated issues
• Ensure accuracy in METRC reporting and inventory management
• Help coordinate product ordering, intake, and merchandising
• Monitor KPIs and contribute to ongoing process improvements

What We’re Looking For:

• Required: Active Colorado MED Occupational Badge
• Preferred: 1 year in a Colorado dispensary or cannabis retail leadership role
• Acceptable: Out-of-state experience with strong knowledge of Colorado cannabis laws and product landscape
• Strong understanding of Colorado cannabis compliance and product types
• POS and METRC proficiency (Flowhub, GreenBits, or similar)
• Leadership skills with a team-first mindset
• Flexible schedule including evenings and weekends
• Customer-focused, detail-oriented, and highly organized
