Job Summary:

Requirements for Marketing Coordinator

1. Experience and Skills

  • Digital Marketing Experience: Minimum of 1-3 years in digital marketing, with hands-on experience managing SEO and PPC campaigns.
  • SEO Proficiency: Demonstrated ability to perform keyword research, on-page optimization (e.g., meta tags, content optimization), and link-building strategies using tools like Google Analytics,

Google Search Console, SEMrush, or Ahrefs.

  • PPC Expertise: Proven experience creating and optimizing pay-per-click campaigns on Google Ads, including setting budgets, writing ad copy, targeting keywords, and improving Quality Score to

maximize ROI.

  • Lead Generation Platforms: Familiarity with managing profiles and generating leads through third-party platforms such as Angie’s List, HomeAdvisor, HomeBuddy, or similar home services

marketplaces.

  • Lead Source Tracking: Experience using CRM tools (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce) or analytics platforms to track and analyze lead origins, conversion rates, and campaign performance.
  • Analytical Skills: Ability to interpret data (e.g., cost-per-lead, click-through rates, conversion rates) and adjust strategies to improve funnel efficiency.

2. Technical Requirements

  • Tool Proficiency:
  • Google Ads and Google Analytics (required).
  • SEO tools like SEMrush, Moz, or Ahrefs (preferred).
  • CRM or lead management software (e.g., HubSpot, Zoho, or CallRail) for tracking lead sources.
  • Basic understanding of website CMS platforms (e.g., WordPress) for SEO updates.
  • Budget Management: Ability to manage marketing budgets ranging from $500-$15,000/month across PPC and lead platforms, ensuring cost-effective lead acquisition.
  • Reporting: Capable of creating Daily, w|eekly or monthly reports detailing lead volume, cost-per-lead, and funnel performance metrics.

3. Industry-Specific Knowledge

  • Home Services Marketing: Understanding of how contractors or home service businesses attract customers via SEO, PPC, and platforms like HomeAdvisor or Angie’s List (preferred but not

required).

  • Platform-Specific Experience:
  • Angie’s List/Leads: Knowledge of profile optimization and lead response strategies.
  • HomeAdvisor: Experience managing bids, lead filters, and follow-ups.
  • HomeBuddy/Home Solutions/Core Leads: Willingness to research and adapt to less mainstream platforms (specific experience a plus).

4. Responsibilities

  • SEO: Conduct keyword research targeting local home services (e.g., "plumber in [city]"), optimize website content, and monitor rankings.
  • PPC: Set up and manage Google Ads campaigns, adjusting bids and targeting to reduce cost-per-click while increasing lead volume.
  • Lead Platform Management: Maintain active, optimized profiles on Angie’s List, HomeAdvisor, HomeBuddy, and Home Solutions; respond to leads within 1 hour to maximize conversions.
  • Core Leads: Integrate and evaluate leads from Core Leads or similar internal systems, ensuring alignment with overall funnel goals.
  • Lead Source Analysis: Track lead origins (e.g., SEO, PPC, HomeAdvisor) and provide recommendations to shift budget toward high-performing channels.
  • Funnel Optimization: Collaborate with sales or service teams to ensure leads move from awareness to booking efficiently.

5. Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Certifications (Preferred):
  • Google Ads Certification.
  • Google Analytics Certification.
  • HubSpot or similar CRM certification.
  • Soft Skills:
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills to juggle multiple platforms and campaigns.
  • Proactive problem-solver, able to troubleshoot low-performing campaigns or lead sources.
  • Excellent communication skills for coordinating with team members and responding to leads.

6. Performance Expectations

  • Generate a minimum of 20-50 qualified leads per month (adjust based on your business size and goals).
  • Maintain a cost-per-lead below industry averages.
  • Improve website organic traffic by 10-20% within the first 6 months through SEO efforts.
  • Deliver a monthly performance report with actionable insights.
