Senior Electrical Technician Lead

Role Summary:

The Electrical Engineer I at Jayco, Inc. is an expert in electrical systems design and development. This individual will lead the design, analysis, and testing of electrical systems to meet strict safety, quality, and performance standards. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of circuit boards, processors, chips, electronic equipment, and computer hardware and software.

Main Responsibilities:

• Lead the design and development of electrical systems to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
• Analyze and evaluate electrical appliances, components, equipment, and tools to optimize system performance.
• Create detailed electrical schematic drawings and documentation to support system operation.
• Collaborate with production teams to troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues efficiently.
• Train manufacturing personnel on electrical component assembly, installation, testing, and troubleshooting procedures.
• Develop and implement quality assurance plans to minimize warranty claims.
• Establish and maintain reliable methods and standards for electrical system development.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology, or 1-3 years of relevant work experience.
• Strong knowledge of arithmetic, algebra, geometry, statistics, and their applications.
• Ability to perform theoretical and practical electrical calculations.
• Familiarity with design techniques, tools, and principles involved in production of precision technical plans, blueprints, drawings, and models.
