What are the responsibilities and job description for the Buyer - Service Parts position at Jayco?
Purpose :
This position exists to perform all purchasing activities for the Service Parts Administration team. The position secures components from suppliers in a cost effective manner while ensuring adequate supplies are available to meet customer and dealer requirements.
Essential functions
- Initiates all Service Parts Administration purchase orders, expedites orders as needed.
- Writes and processes material transfer forms.
- Loads and maintains supplier quotes for after market purchased items.
- Processes MRP generated work orders to Jayco side departments.
