What are the responsibilities and job description for the Recruiting Coordinator position at Jayco?
This position exists to lead the Jayco recruiting process and successfully source the right candidates while working closely with hiring managers to understand hiring needs and engaging with the larger community to develop talent pipelines.
Essential Functions
Develop and execute recruitment strategies to pro-actively source and attract candidates via various recruiting methods including networking, relationship building, community engagement, social media, job postings, etc.
Collaborate with management to understand organizational structure, objectives, business culture to meet staffing needs and build talent pipeline.
Understand departmental hiring needs and proactively screen applicants, setting interviews, assisting with hiring as requested including leading hiring events.
Engage with local schools and professional groups to develop career awareness as well as potential candidate base. Provide tours as needed.
Lead New Hire Orientation meetings.
Additional Functions
Assist with written job offers.
Assist with Jayco internship program.
Experience / Knowledge
Requires a minimum of 1-3 years of broad recruiting experience for both hourly and salaried positions.
Demonstrates understanding of successful recruiting techniques as well as management of employer brand in regards to marketing the company and recruiting.
Proficient with Applicant Tracking Systems, HRIS systems, Microsoft office.
Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Necessary Skills & Abilities
Critical thinking ability, problem solving, sensitivity, inductive reasoning skills, and organizational awareness.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Must display professionalism in all interactions and the ability to maintain a positive attitude through periods of adversity and disagreement.
Demonstrate strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple projects efficiently.
Being able to think outside the box and take big picture goal of recruiting / hiring best candidate for successful outcomes.
Work Requirements
This position may require working in front of a computer monitor in an office setting approximately 75% of the day.
The position performs non-strenuous daily activities of an administrative nature.
This position is a full-time position, which may require some flexibility in hours & days worked (including Saturdays, as needed).
A valid driver’s license is required. Some travel may occasionally be required for career fairs, hiring events and networking.
This position is based in Middlebury, IN and is not a remote work position.
