What are the responsibilities and job description for the Warranty Claims Administrator position at Jayco?
This position exists to process warranty claims and to maintain warranty records to promote timely, accurate and cost efficient processing of warranty claims.
Essential Functions
Research, review, code and process all types of warranty claims assuring that all required documentation and information has been received; approves or denies claims.
Research and resolve pending issues on claims.
Makes vendor chargeback decisions during claim processing.
Communicates with dealers regarding claims issues.
Additional Functions
Convert claims from Canadian dollars to US currency using current exchange rate.
Assists in training dealers on policies, processes and website usage.
Runs bi-weekly batch process & checks ready-to-pay claims for duplicates, verifies claim amounts, proper pay-to dealers; and pulls ready-to-pay and denied claims.
Experience / Knowledge
Requires knowledge of Jayco products.
Customer facing experience is desired.
Prior call center experience is helpful.
Demonstrated desire and ability to assess problem situations and respond appropriately.
Willingness to learn, grow and adapt to an ever-changing product environment.
Necessary Skills / Abilities
Communicates with dealers in a professional manner to gather facts and resolve disputes.
Responds to inquiries on a wide variety of issues using SOPs in a high volume environment.
Detail orientation with demonstrated organizational skills is required.
Work Requirements
This position may require sitting, standing, working in front of a computer monitor in an office setting approximately 95% of the day.
Regularly required to sit, stand, walk, and stoop, kneel, or crouch; use hands to fingers, handle or feel objects, tools, or controls; and reach with hands and arms. Must be able to lift and move up to 10 pounds.
This position is a full-time position, which may require some flexibility in hours & days worked (including Saturdays, as needed).
