Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and dynamic Sales Representative to join our team. This role is essential in driving our business forward by engaging with potential and existing clients and providing them with tailored solutions. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in technical sales and customer service, with the ability to communicate effectively and build lasting relationships.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage sales for the territory.
- Achieve sales targets and quotas within the assigned territory.
- Achieve gross margin targets.
- Manage existing accounts and actively seek new business.
- Build and maintain relationships with architects, designers, contractors and facility owners.
- Conduct sales presentations and demonstrations to potential and existing customers.
- Understand customer needs and provide customized, engineered solutions.
- Negotiate terms with contractors and facility owners.
- Address and aid in resolution of any field and installation issues along with engineering and project management.
- Interact with suppliers to provide the correct product solution that will be competitively bid in the marketplace.
- Provide design and specification assistance for architects and facility owners within territory.
- Generate leads through networking, referrals, direct outreach and private and government bid management systems.
- Catalog and analyze competitor activities.
- Analyze sales and margin data and identify areas for improvement in product mix, project management and installation.
- Maintaining accurate sales records and reports.
- Manage bid and budget shared calendar.
- Provide regular updates to management on sales performance and activities including participation in regular sales and project management meetings.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in sales, customer service, or a related field.
- Ability to understand customer needs and handle different types of personalities.
- Strong negotiation and persuasion skills.

- Comfortable using productivity tools (Microsoft Office, Bluebeam, Construct Connect, and Adobe).

- Bachelor's degree: A bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or Marketing is preferred.

Location:
