JOB SUMMARY:
The Youth Basketball Account Executive will build, strengthen, and maintain authentic relationships with high school athletic departments and high school coaches through essential communication (in-person, phone, text, or e-mail). They will be a liaison between the high school and the Utah Jazz, inform the basketball program of all upcoming opportunities, help register team for bantam leagues, and help high school programs run bantam programs.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Network and establish relationships with high school basketball programs and coaches (boys and girls).
- Educate high school basketball programs on the Utah Jazz Bantam program.
- Exhibit a high level of motivation and desire to succeed in reaching production goals and targets.
- Ability to prospect effectively to find and create new business opportunities for yourself and the organization.
- Have regular contact (in-person, phone, text, or e-mail) with clients to further build and strengthen the relationship.
- Help coaches organize bantam program and assist in registering teams for leagues.
- Assist in renewals, upgrades and add-on programs for high school teams and players to assist with departmental and organizational goals.
- Field, resolve, and document various client requests and concerns with the highest standard of customer service.
- Deliver service that is personal, creative, and timely.
- Demonstrate a positive attitude, support company initiatives with peers and customers.
- Assist in the development and implementation of customized programs, benefits, and events for Utah Jazz Youth Programs.
- Setup appointments with high school athletic directors and basketball coaches and make building relationships a priority.
- Support the broader sales, service, and marketing functions and objectives of the organization.
- Maintain detailed records in CRM to support service and sales efforts as defined by the organization.
- Work closely with the youth team and other departments (i.e., marketing, business development, and ticketing) to ensure premier experience for high school teams, coaches, players, and parents.
- Be a good teammate, contribute positively to a winning culture, and be respectful.
- Protect the legal, financial, and moral well-being of the company.
- Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree or the equivalent training and experience.
- Preferred experience of 1-3 years career experience in high level sales.
- Shown ability to establish rapport with colleagues and build strong social relationships.
- Needs to be a great teammate who is detail oriented, self-motivated, flexible, engaged, energetic, outgoing, and resilient.
- Possess extraordinary communication skills and the ability to effectively handle conflict management.
- Be analytical and possess creative problem solving and decision-making skills.
- Ability to organize and prioritize workload in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong technology skills; proficient in Google applications. Knowledge of Unify Ticketing Software and CRM is a plus.
- Able to work flexible schedule when required; availability and willingness to work extended hours, including nights and weekends, and be on-call as necessary.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
- This person must be able to communicate and express themselves both written and verbally.
- This person must be able to observe, inspect, estimate and assess.
- This person must be able to sit, stand, bend, walk, and climb stairs for long periods of time.
- This person must be able to lift 20 lbs.
