Overview/What You Will Do:
- Manage Atlassian Suite Administrator responsibilities for FSA Jira and Confluence instances, including system and project configurations, maintenance, add-on installations and upgrades, technical support and training.
- Responsible for the standardization of workflows, screen schemes and custom field configurations to help streamline data entry, general usability and provide configuration consistency across similar software development project management projects.
- Design and support new Jira projects for Jira and Confluence with customized workflows, screens schemes and field configurations.
- Support migration of projects from other Atlassian instances to FSA Jira including post-migration cleanup and standardization of the various workflow and project configurations associated with the project migrations.
- Support SAML/SSO plugin with integration between FSA Jira/Confluence and Access Identity Management System (AIMS) to authenticate FSA user logins with various applications across the department.
- Work with NGDC/AWS infrastructure teams to support non-Prod and Production environments, including version upgrades.
- Act as Designated Requestor for processing all user access requests for the FSA Jira and Confluence applications.
- Compile weekly reports and provide monthly metric input for program reporting.
- Support JSL in-house development instance of Jira and Confluence to test configuration changes and version upgrades prior to rolling them out on the FSA Atlassian environments.
- Support creation and development of Partnership Program with Atlassian and JSL for internal training and and licensing purposes.
- 6C Public Trust clearance or equivalent
- 8 years of Atlassian Suite Administration experience
- Atlassian Certified in Managing Jira Projects for Cloud
- Atlassian Certified in Managing Jira Projects for Data Center
- Certified SAFe® 5 Practitioner
- ITIL Foundation in IT Service Management
- Experience with Terraform IaC
- Experience with Atlassian Government Cloud
- Expertise in Agile Methodologies
- Expertise in Software Configuration, Source Control, and Release Management
- Expertise in DevSecOps
- Experience with GitLab/GitHub and integration with Atlassian products
- Database experience with: PostgreSQL, MySQL, MSSQL, Oracle
