Key Responsibilities:
QA Plans Support:
- Assist in the development and implementation of Quality Assurance (QA) plans and procedures to ensure compliance with federal regulations and standards.
- Collaborate with team members to support the integration of quality requirements into project plans and documentation.
- Support quality surveillance activities to ensure that deliverables meet project specifications and federal requirements.
- Assist in monitoring and assessing the quality of work performed across different projects.
- Participate in audits, inspections, and assessments to help identify potential quality concerns.
- Help generate and maintain quality reports, track non-conformance, and assist in documenting corrective actions.
- Assist with compiling and organizing QA data to ensure timely and accurate reporting to senior management and clients.
- Support the documentation and filing of quality-related records and reports in compliance with federal guidelines.
- Help identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute ideas for enhancing quality assurance procedures.
- Assist in preparing training materials to ensure team members understand QA standards and processes.
- Learn about and stay updated on federal regulations and quality standards to ensure all activities comply with federal requirements.
- Assist with ensuring QA activities meet applicable laws and federal procurement regulations (e.g., FAR, DFARS).
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Quality Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Experience:
- Minimum 2-year’s experience in Quality Assurance.
- An interest in learning about quality standards in the government contracting space.
- Strong attention to detail and a passion for ensuring high-quality work.
- Basic understanding of quality management systems, standards, and methodologies (e.g., ISO, CMMI) is a plus.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to support reporting and documentation tasks.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while also taking initiative to learn and grow.
- Any relevant certifications in Quality Management would be advantageous but not required.
