As the Director, Platform Architect, you will be a key technical leader responsible for architecting, developing, and implementing a robust, scalable, and high-performing technology platform that powers our AI-driven applications. Your role will be critical in ensuring the platform meets the evolving needs of our business while maintaining the highest standards of security, reliability, and performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Architectural Leadership: Lead the design, development, and implementation of a comprehensive enterprise multi-cloud platform strategy, incorporating the latest advancements in cloud computing, AI, and machine learning technologies (e.g., microservices, containers, Kubernetes, AI services, LLMs, Foundation models).
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with engineering, product, and business teams to understand strategic goals and translate them into technical requirements that guide platform architecture and development.
• Platform Innovation: Drive the creation of a secure, scalable, and efficient platform that supports rapid innovation and iteration while delivering robust and cost-effective services to our customers.
• Automation & Infrastructure: Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration management using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform and Ansible, ensuring a streamlined, repeatable deployment process.
• Monitoring & Optimization: Implement comprehensive monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions to maintain platform health, optimize performance, and ensure proactive issue resolution.
• Documentation & Best Practices: Develop and maintain detailed platform documentation, including architecture diagrams, deployment procedures, and operational guidelines. Continuously evaluate and implement best practices to enhance platform quality and security.
• Mentorship & Guidance: Provide technical mentorship and guidance to junior engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and technical excellence within the team.
• Continuous Learning: Stay abreast of the latest trends in cloud computing, AI, and enterprise architecture, and proactively integrate new technologies and methodologies into the platform.

Qualifications:

• Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
• Experience: A minimum of 8 years of experience in enterprise platform architecture and design, with a proven track record of delivering cloud-based solutions at scale.
• Technical Expertise: Deep expertise in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), container technologies, enterprise cloud security, and DevOps methodologies, including experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools.
• AI/ML Integration: Familiarity with AI/ML technologies and their integration into enterprise platforms is highly desirable.
• Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on delivering practical, innovative solutions.
• Communication & Collaboration: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
• Growth Mindset: A passion for learning, growth, and sharing knowledge with the team.
