About the Role
We are seeking a BIM Coordinator to join the BIM department in our New York office in Lower Manhattan. This position plays a key role in the implementation of new and existing technologies that aid in the design and documentation process. You will work across disciplines to ensure adherence to standards, create content, provide training, and develop and research new tools. Additionally, you will act as a liaison between the technology and design departments. The ideal candidate will have an engineering and/or construction background and knowledge of mechanical, electrical, or plumbing trades.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with project teams to develop and maintain accurate and comprehensive 3D models, and utilize BIM data for improved project coordination, communication, and quality control
- Develop and maintain accurate 3D models using BIM software (Revit, Autodesk Construction Cloud, Navisworks)
- Ensure model accuracy and compliance with project specifications, industry standards, and company BIM protocols
- Coordinate model development with architects, engineers, and other project stakeholders.
- Primary point of contact for management and coordination of 3D content for project team.
- Clash Detection: Conduct clash detection and resolution to identify and resolve conflicts between MEP systems and other building components
- Coordinate with project teams to address and resolve clashes effectively
Qualifications:
- 5 years of engineering experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, or related industry
- Proficiency in BIM software (Revit, Navisworks, Autodesk Construction Cloud)
- Strong understanding of construction principles, methods, and materials
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills

Estimated compensation range: $95,000-115,000 base salary per year
