JB Harris Transport LLC is seeking a skilled and reliable Tractor-Trailer Diesel Mechanic to join our team in Thomasville, PA. The ideal candidate will have expertise in bumper-to-bumper repair, basic electrical repair and installation, and knowledge of Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations. This role is vital to ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our fleet.

Responsibilities :

• Perform diagnostic assessments and repairs on diesel engines, transmissions, and other vehicle systems.
• Conduct bumper-to-bumper inspections and repairs to ensure vehicles are in optimal working condition.
• Repair, replace, or install electrical components such as wiring, lighting, and other electrical systems.
• Perform preventative maintenance, including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections.
• Maintain compliance with DOT regulations and ensure vehicles meet safety and operational standards.
• Keep detailed records of all repairs, maintenance, and inspections.
• Collaborate with drivers and dispatch to prioritize and schedule repairs.
• Operate tools and equipment safely and maintain a clean work environment.
