We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly efficient Estimator/In-Office Operations Support to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing plan takeoffs and estimations, primarily using PlanSwift for electronic takeoffs. This position requires accuracy, efficiency, and strong attention to detail in drywall and insulation takeoffs. The Estimator will work closely with the operations team and company owner to support project planning and execution.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform electronic takeoffs using PlanSwift on a desktop platform.
- Accurately estimate drywall and insulation materials based on project plans.
- Ensure detailed, efficient, and precise takeoff calculations.
- Collaborate with the operations team to assist in project planning.
- Provide support to the owner in estimating and business operations.
- Take on additional duties as assigned to contribute to team success.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Experience in construction estimating (drywall and insulation preferred).
- Proficiency in PlanSwift or similar takeoff/estimation software.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in calculations.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with the team.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and adaptability.
