First year salary will be paid a weekly draw against commissions earned = commission sales position.
Overview
We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Outside Sales Representative to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for driving sales growth by developing new business relationships and nurturing existing accounts. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in direct sales, particularly in B2B environments, and have a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. This position requires excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently while collaborating with internal teams to achieve sales goals.
Responsibilities
- Manage existing accounts and develop new accounts / revenue
- Interact with customers – access their insulation / drywall needs and accurately measure their job / blue prints and generate an accurate code compliant take off
- Submit accurate physical take offs for all work to be done
- Manage sales process from call / cold call to collection
- Assist JB production team in managing the jobs you sell in an effort to maximize customer satisfaction and facilitate repeat business
- Cold call and develop new business
- Strive to continually improve your sales levels and skills while selling all of the products we offer and further develop your client base and increase your market share
- At the direction of management develop and implement an annual action plan
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through cold calling and networking.
- Manage territory sales effectively, ensuring coverage of all potential clients within assigned regions.
- Provide exceptional customer service throughout the sales process, addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
- Track sales activities and report on performance metrics regularly.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in direct sales, preferably in a B2B setting.
- Strong skills in upselling and collaboration sales techniques.
- Familiarity with territory sales management practices.
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on building long-term relationships.
- Experience in retail or technical sales is a plus.
- Ability to conduct cold calling effectively to generate leads.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to present ideas clearly.
- Self-motivated with a results-oriented mindset and the ability to work independently.
