Tax Preparer

Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and knowledgeable Tax Preparer to join our team for the upcoming tax season at our Newark, Nj Office. This is an in-office position where you will work closely with clients to provide exceptional tax preparation services. If you have strong attention to detail, a passion for helping others, and expertise in tax preparation, we’d love to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and file individual and small business tax returns accurately and efficiently.

• Review financial documents to ensure compliance with tax regulations.

• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client questions and concerns.

• Stay updated on federal, state, and local tax laws.

• Collaborate with the team to ensure a smooth workflow during the busy tax season.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Tax Preparer (minimum of 1 tax season preferred).

• Knowledge of tax software (experience with [insert software used] is a plus).

• Strong understanding of federal and state tax regulations.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Attention to detail and strong organizational abilities.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

• Valid PTIN (Preparer Tax Identification Number) preferred.
