There is nothing like a day at the beach especially if you happen to work there! JBay, LLC strives to provide extraordinary hospitality for members of its beach clubs in Breezy Point, NY and are looking for a seasonal position at the Silver Gull Beach Club.
General Maintenance I
- Complete work requests in a timely and efficient manner as required
- Duties may include general painting, carpentry, plumbing, minor electrical tasks, masonry, and landscaping maintenance.
- Perform assigned maintenance and mechanical tasks for buildings, furnishings, and equipment as necessary
- Comply with all safety policies and procedures, including when lifting, climbing, etc.
- Be available to assist other team members with maintenance tasks
- Polite, knowledgeable, and timely customer service when responding to visitor inquiries.
Requirements
- Must be capable of “hands-on” repairs in most maintenance disciplines
- Ability to use hand tools and equipment common to maintenance and repair tasks
- Majority of shift will be spent on feet in a fast-paced environment.
- Position involves frequent bending, twisting, squatting, and lifting to 25 lbs. frequently and up to 50 lbs. occasionally
- Must be able to work a variety of days, nights, weekends, and holiday shifts
- Must have a valid drivers license to operate vehicles throughout the property
Hourly rate $18.00
