JBC has an immediate full-time position available in our King of Prussia, PA office for a Scheduling Engineer responsible for providing construction management, planning, and project controls services to the transportation construction and facilities industries. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with at least three (3) years of scheduling experience with design and construction projects who is eager to advance their career. The selected candidate will play a key role in our construction management team. The successful candidate must demonstrate familiarity with scheduling concepts of related work activities, logic diagrams, schedule resources, schedule milestones, level of effort, and general presentation of schedules in various formats.

Responsibilities And Duties
- Develop baseline schedules and maintain schedule updates in Primavera P6 with updated information provided by the project team.
- Review Contractor’s Baseline and Monthly Updated schedule submissions and verify that all work scope is identified properly and logically sequenced correctly; provide written detailed schedule review comments.
- Resource and Cost Load schedules, as required.
- Independently interpret and read detailed construction drawings (Architectural, Structural, Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, Civil, etc.) and develop a clear understanding of the work scope.
- Effectively work with the project teams to avoid or minimize project risks due to issues onsite, change orders, etc. Prepare schedule reports that explain the status of the schedule, changes made, issues with the schedule and any potential delays.

- Assist in performing schedule delay analysis, claims review and resolution.
The successful candidate must be a detail-oriented team player who can manage multiple tasks, produce quality work, and consistently meet deadlines. The successful candidate will possess:
- 3 years of experience as a Scheduler, preferably with experience in scheduling for various types of facilities and transportation projects.
- AS or BS degree in construction management, engineering, or related field; or equivalent field experience.
- Thorough knowledge of the mechanics of CPM Scheduling.
- PSP and/ or PMI-SP Certifications a plus.
- Experience with Oracle Primavera P6 is required.
- Knowledge of Oracle Primavera Cloud, ASTA Powerproject and MS Project, a plus.
- Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications.
- Familiarity with document control systems (i.e., Procore, eBuilder, Kahua, etc.).
- Fluent in MS Word and Excel
- Ability to work independently.
- Good oral and written communication skills.
- Detailed oriented.

- General office environment requires sitting for extended periods while working at a computer or desk.
