YOUR LIFE AS A CAD ENGINEER
This full-time CAD engineering position typically works Monday – Friday, 7:00 am – 4:00 pm.
In this manufacturing position, you play a vital role in our ability to manufacture interiors that meet each of our client's needs. You come to work each day ready to ensure that the design of our millwork and casework is precise and pleasing to the eye. To begin a new project, you closely examine our clients' architectural drawings and their scope list, which gives you an idea of the project's goals, tasks, costs, and deadlines. You then use your experience in AutoCAD drafting to turn this information into detailed drawings for us to fabricate.
Each day is different as you tackle a variety of projects, and you enjoy the chance to put your skills in AutoCAD drafting to good use. A team player, you do your part to ensure that each project is completed on time and in quality fashion. You feel great knowing that your designs result in top-notch millwork and casework that will serve our clients for years to come!
WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU
- 3 years of experience in architectural millwork manufacturing
- Ability to read architectural drawings
- Basic computer skills, including AutoCAD, Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Acrobat Reader
- Knowledge about computer numerical control (CNC) programming and operations
- Knowledge about Amazon web services (AWS) manufacturing and materials standards
A bachelor's degree is preferred. Experience with Microvellum would be a plus, but training is available. If you can meet these requirements and perform this CAD engineering job as described above, we would be happy to have you as part of our team!
