JBL Enterprises, LLC dba Hearts and Hands group home is looking for compassionate and reliable individuals to work with developmentally disabled female adults. As Direct Support Staff, you will help others lead a meaningful life and become as independent as possible.
PART TIME POSITIONS:
- Saturday & Sunday 8am-3pm
- Saturday 3pm-8pm AND Sunday 11am-7pm
*Must be available to work every weekend.
Responsibilities:
- Willing to teach, prompt, assist in accomplishing goals
- Assist with personal hygiene including bathing prompts and oral care prompts
- Housekeeping and laundry
- Making/serving meals
- Transporting residents on outing in the community
Requirements:
- Must have at least 1 year of related work experiences (experience MUST be on resume. If related work experience is not on resume, you will not be considered for this position)
- Willing to work with developmentally disabled adults
- Able to pass local, FBI and FDLE background screening per DCF requirements
- Able to complete required training in a timely manner
- Able to use a computer to complete paperwork, reports, and send emails
- Willingness to conform to policies, procedures, and state mandates
- Must have High school diploma or GED (MUST have a copy of diploma or GED)
- Valid driver's license & reliable transportation
- Clean driving record (5 years)
- Must be able to multi-task
- Must be organized
- Non-smoking position
Due to the nature of services we provide, all level two background screenings are filtered through DCF then APD to determine if an individual's criminal history (if there is one) makes them ineligible to work with a vulnerable population per state of Florida statues.
