Key Responsibilities :
Performing general accounting activities, including preparing, maintaining, and reconciling ledger accounts and financial statements such as balance sheets, profit-and-loss statements, and capital expenditure schedules.
Preparing, recording, analyzing, and reporting accounting transactions to ensure the integrity and accuracy of financial records.
Providing financial support, including forecasting, budgeting, and analyzing variations from budget.
Analyzing and preparing statutory accounts, financial statements, and reports.
Conducting or assisting in the documentation of accounting projects.
Handling cash application and performing balance sheet reconciliations.
Assisting in the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes.
Reviewing and reconciling intercompany transactions and accounts.
Assisting with internal and external audits by preparing necessary documentation and responding to audit inquiries.
Monitoring and ensuring compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements.
Supporting process improvements and automation initiatives to enhance accounting efficiency.
Assisting with variance analysis and providing insights into financial performance.
Preparing journal entries and supporting schedules for financial reporting. Qualifications :
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Minimum 3 years of accounts receivable, balance sheet reconciliation, and cash applications experience.
Proven experience working within SAP.
Accounts receivable experience within a large publicly traded company.
Project related work for accounts receivable is considered a plus.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial software.
Proficiency in financial analysis and problem-solving.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
Strong communication skills for collaborating with internal teams.
