Key Responsibilities:
- Assisting in the management of multiple engineering projects by prioritizing tasks and assigning team members to optimize resources and meet project deadlines.
- Evaluating and authorizing changes that significantly impact the scope, budget, or timeline of a project.
- Leading engineering projects, monitoring progress, and ensuring performance aligns with project plans while identifying and resolving operational issues to minimize delays.
- Managing ongoing relationships with external contractors to ensure satisfactory service standards.
- Providing input on workstream business objectives.
- Building and tracking overall project timelines.
- Monitoring and mitigating overall project risks.
- Providing input for capital expenditure requests (CER) creation and submission.
- Tracking and managing workstream project expenses.
- Creating and maintaining a resource plan.
- Managing all project resources and prioritizing tasks effectively.
- Overseeing and ensuring accurate OnePPM inputs and reports.
- Setting up weekly meetings with vendors, tracking meeting minutes, and managing action items for individual processes.
- Identifying alternative solutions and approaches to overcoming project risks/issues while proactively communicating meaningful project measurements and KPIs per expectations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering required.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in project management.
- Minimum 4 years of engineering experience in a manufacturing setting.
- Experience in medical device industry, facilities utility/infrastructure, manufacturing equipment, validation, programming, and qualifications.
- Strong understanding of FDA regulations, ISO 13485, and GMP requirements in a medical device environment.
- Experience managing capital projects, budgets, and cost tracking.
- Proficiency in project management tools such as Microsoft Project, OnePPM, or equivalent software.
- Strong risk assessment and mitigation planning skills.
- Ability to collaborate cross-functionally and drive alignment across multiple stakeholders.
- Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and critical-thinking abilities.
- Strong communication and leadership skills with experience in leading teams and facilitating meetings.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment with shifting priorities.
