Key Responsibilities :
Developing and implementing methods and procedures for process control, process improvement, testing, and inspection.
Designing and installing sophisticated testing equipment to perform product testing and analysis.
Analyzing reports and defective products to identify trends and recommend corrective actions.
Collaborating with supplier representatives to resolve quality problems and ensure effective corrective actions are implemented.
Contributing to supplier quality improvement programs by identifying areas for enhancement.
Conducting root cause analysis and implementing corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) to minimize defects and failure rates.
Reviewing and updating quality documentation, including control plans, work instructions, and standard operating procedures.
Ensuring compliance with industry regulations and company quality standards.
Supporting internal and external audits by preparing documentation and addressing non-conformances.
Providing training to manufacturing and quality teams on best practices for quality assurance and process improvements.
Qualifications :
Degree required in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field.
Strong understanding of quality control methodologies, process improvement techniques, and testing procedures.
Experience with root cause analysis and implementing corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
Proficiency in using quality management systems (QMS) and statistical analysis tools.
Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and test reports.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and suppliers.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
Experience with Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, or other quality improvement methodologies is a plus.
Familiarity with industry standards and regulations such as ISO 9001, FDA regulations, or AS9100 is preferred.
Knowledge of software tools such as Minitab, SAP, or statistical process control (SPC) software is a plus.
Prior experience in supplier quality management is preferred.
