Supplier Quality Engineer

Key Responsibilities :
Collaborating with suppliers to maintain a comprehensive database of material information, including Safety Data Sheets (SDS) and test reports.
Assisting with maintaining and updating critical documents and records to ensure accuracy and compliance.
Monitoring and assessing new environmental regulations, providing timely updates to internal stakeholders.
Communicating with suppliers and collecting data.
Contacting suppliers to request additional compliance documentation or clarify regulatory requirements.
Updating documentation.
Collecting, reviewing, and analyzing compliance documentation to identify any non-compliance risks.
Maintaining databases.
Updating and organizing internal databases with regulatory information and material compliance records.
Process improvements.
Supporting internal teams with remediation activity for compliance-related activities. Qualifications :
Bachelor’s Degree required, preferably in a science, engineering, or environmental background.
0-4 years of previous experience in quality engineering or a related field.
Software proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook.
Knowledge of environmental regulations and compliance standards is preferred.
Familiarity with database management or document control systems is preferred.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
Excellent communication skills for collaborating with suppliers and internal teams.
Proficiency in maintaining accurate records and databases.
