Overnight Security Supervisor needed in the Eden Prairie, MN area
- FT/3rd Shift/Mon-Fri - $21.50-22/hr - Weekly Pay
Job Summary:
JBM is seeking a reliable and experienced Overnight Security Supervisor to lead our night security team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing security personnel and ensuring that all protocols and procedures are followed. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a keen eye for detail to handle any security challenges that arise.

In this role, you will be responsible for managing security personnel and ensuring that all protocols and procedures are followed. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a keen eye for detail to handle any security challenges that arise.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and manage overnight security staff, ensuring they are properly trained and equipped for their duties.
- Conduct regular security patrols to ensure the safety of the facility and its occupants.
- Monitor surveillance equipment and systems, responding promptly to any suspicious activity or emergencies.
- Enforce company policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with safety and security protocols.
- Act as the primary point of contact for any security-related incidents, providing immediate response and reporting as necessary.
- Prepare and submit detailed reports on incidents, security breaches, and other notable occurrences during the shift.
- Coordinate with local authorities, fire departments, and other emergency personnel as needed.
- Ensure all security equipment and systems are operational and report any malfunctions for prompt repair.
- Perform security checks on doors, windows, and other entry points to ensure they are secured.
- Provide guidance and support to security officers, ensuring they are effective in their roles.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent (additional security training or certifications preferred).
- Previous experience in security or law enforcement, with at least 1-2 years in a supervisory role.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and make decisions under pressure.
- Knowledge of security systems, surveillance equipment, and emergency procedures.
- Ability to remain alert and responsive during overnight hours.
- Must pass a background check and drug screening, including marijuana.
