As a Survey Crew Technician at JBPro, you will support a surveying crew in collecting accurate field data critical to the success of various projects. Reporting to a Surveying Crew Chief, you will contribute to North Florida's infrastructure development while gaining valuable hands-on experience in the surveying field. What You'll Do:
- Assist the Surveying Crew Chief in the collection of field data for a variety of projects
- Perform physical tasks such as clearing brush, driving stakes, and digging holes to support surveying operations
- Use tools like surveyor's chain, level rod, range and prism pole, plumb bob, and tripods to facilitate data collection
- Safely transport crew members and equipment to project sites by operating trucks or boats, as needed
- Maintain and organize survey equipment to ensure operational efficiency
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Willingness to learn the technical aspects of surveying and grow within the role
- Ability to perform physical labor outdoors for extended periods
