1ST SHIFT LEAD QA NSIS TECH

POSITION: 1st Shift Lead QA NSIS Technician

DEPARTMENT: Quality Control

LOCATION: Worthington

SALARY CLASS: Non-Exempt

Knowledgeable in all NSIS areas and Processes, including Pathology.

· Supervise QA Technicians

· Monitor and ensure that all NSIS positions are covered.

· Perform NSIS duties as well cover NSIS positions.

· Monitor and ensure proper procedures, safety, and cleanliness of the production of the product.

· Perform HACCP verifications.

· Inspect various products to ensure compliance with Company specifications.

· Other duties as assigned.

· Production and maintenance settings.

· Exposure to various chemicals, machinery, and knives.

· Slippery floors, extreme temperatures and loud noises.

· NSIS knowledge.

· Computer Skills.

· Production experience preferred in a food processing facility.

· Resume required.

· High School degree or equivalent required

· Ability to communicate effectively, both written and verbally in English

· Good Math Skills

· Self-Starter

· Bilingual skills helpful

· Excellent conflict resolution skills

· Computer knowledge required

· Good organizational skills

· Ability to work 50 hours

· Good attendance (3 or less points for internal) and safety records

· Dependable and enthusiastic

· Leadership skills
