3RD SHIFT MAINTENANCE GENERAL FOREMAN 

Responsibilities: 

• Supervision and Leadership:
  • Supervise and direct the work of maintenance technicians and supervisors, ensuring timely and efficient completion of tasks.
  • Provide technical guidance, training, and mentorship to team members.
  • Motivate and engage the team to achieve high performance and safety standards.
  • Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to team members.
  • Manage and resolve conflicts within the team.
• Maintenance Planning and Execution:
  • Develop and implement maintenance plans and schedules to minimize downtime and optimize equipment performance.
  • Prioritize and assign maintenance tasks based on urgency and impact.
  • Ensure that all maintenance activities are performed in accordance with safety regulations and company procedures.
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment problems, recommending and implementing effective solutions.
  • Order and manage inventory of maintenance parts and supplies.
  • Monitor and manage downtime events
• Safety and Compliance:
  • Ensure a safe working environment for all maintenance personnel.
  • Conduct regular safety inspections and address potential hazards.
  • Implement and enforce safety procedures and regulations.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant safety regulations and industry standards.
  • Maintain and monitor food safety
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement solutions to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest maintenance technologies and techniques.
• Participate in training and development activities to enhance skills and knowledge 
• Other duties as assigned. 

Qualifications:

• Education:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree or relevant technical certifications preferred.
• Experience:
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a manufacturing maintenance environment, with 2 years of experience in a supervisory or leadership role.
• Skills:
  • Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and automation systems.
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting and repairing manufacturing equipment.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and other technical documentation.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
