Process Engineer- Operational Excellence/Continuous Improvement

Purpose and Scope/General Summary: We are looking for aProcess Engineer for JBS Pork that reports onsite to the corporate office in Greeley, Colorado.

Responsibilities

• Understand the business process, see the big picture, assess current practices and identify new areas where inefficiencies affect the bottom line of the business.
• Analyze business processes and suggest technology-driven solutions, such as AI, automation, robotics and big data analytics, to enhance operational efficiency.
• Lead technology initiatives aimed at boosting operational performance, ensuring timely and budget-compliant project completion.
• Establish and continuously track performance metrics to maintain improvements and identify new enhancement opportunities.
• Influence and collaboration with various departments to ensure improvements align with overall business goals and strategies.
• Explore new technologies and ideas across different industries, recommending projects that align with our business needs.
• Act as the business lead for IT projects, coordinating with multiple stakeholders (external consultants, business users, Corporate IT team) to deliver projects on time and within budget. This role will oversee the general progress of projects without owning every individual project.
• Work heavily with our team of business analysts to ensure a tight relationship with data quality, integrity and advanced commentary. This role may even own different reporting areas within the business.

Qualifications

• JBS internal employees strongly preferred
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in engineering, operations technology or related field
• Passion for technology and the meat industry
• Experience: 2-5 years of relevant experience requires
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills
• Self-motivated, with the ability to work independently and ask questions as needed
• Experience in project management, quality management tools
• Knowledge of IT systems in our industry (ERP, Plant Floor, Order to Cash)
• Knowledge of databases and prior experience working with big data reporting tools
• Can perform the functions of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation

The applicant who fills this position will be eligible for the following compensation and benefits:

• Benefits: Vision, Medical, and Dental coverage begin after 60 days of employment;
• Paid Time Off: sick leave, vacation, and 6 company observed holidays;
• 401(k): company match begins after the first year of service and follows the company vesting schedule;
• Base salary range of $85,000-$100,000;
• Incentive Pay: This position is eligible to participate in the Company’s annual bonus plan, the amount of bonus varies and is subject to the standard terms and conditions of the incentive program; and
