Position at Pilgrim's: A Key Role in the Warehouse Operations
The successful candidate will be responsible for the efficient unloading of bulk, liquid and warehouse trucks, rail cars and unit trains. They will also be tasked with transferring corn to grinding bins and soy to batching bins.
Key Responsibilities:
- Unload bulk, liquid and warehouse trucks
- Unload rail cars and unit trains
- Transfer corn to grinding bins
- Transfer soy to batching bins
- Inspect incoming material to ensure quality and accuracy of receiving documents
- Organize and prepare stock identification tags for all ingredients
- Maintain storage areas to prevent overflow
- Direct products to the proper bins, tanks, etc.
- Complete paperwork and inventory reports daily
Additional Duties:
- Operate a forklift or other machinery used in the warehouse
- Perform housekeeping duties in assigned areas
Requirements:
- High school degree or equivalent
- Ability to lift 60 pounds, climb ladders and operate a pallet jack with 2000 pounds of material
- Ability to work at heights up to 200 feet
