Job Description:
The Plant Operations Manager will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of a food manufacturing facility, ensuring safe working environment and compliance with Process Safety Management (PSM), OSHA, and other safety and environmental regulations.
- Manage plant KPIs, including production quotas, turnover/absenteeism, and recordable incidents
- Develop and implement RCA and action plans to address problems and improve operations
- Ensure team member safety and well-being
- Oversee food safety and quality initiatives
- Collaborate with functional leads to achieve operational goals and objectives
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
- At least 7 years of experience in food processing management, preferably in a fully cooked environment
- Proven track record of high performance in a fast-paced production setting
- Basic understanding of OSHA and EPA regulations
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
