Job Description:
This position is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of a production department. As an Operational Supervisor, you will play a critical role in ensuring that all procedures are followed to achieve the highest level of productivity while maintaining the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Train and develop employees to achieve maximum performance and productivity.
- Plan and schedule manpower, materials, and equipment to optimize departmental policies and procedures.
- Manage employee performance, providing constructive feedback and coaching.
- Investigate areas of quality improvement, cost reduction, and method improvement.
- Promote safety throughout the work area.
BASIC SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:
- 1 years of supervisory experience.
- Poultry or food industry experience preferred.
- Previous leadership experience with 20 employees.
- Effective communication and decision-making skills.
- Basic computer knowledge and ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus.
Education: High School Diploma/GED; College Degree in a related field preferred.
