">We are seeking a highly motivated Shipping Operations Coordinator to join our team at jbs. As a key member of our shipping department, you will be responsible for directing and coordinating the activities associated with shipping, storing of products at the facility.
">- Main Responsibilities:
- Coordinate activities of shipping, storage, and distribution with sales and production departments.
- Determine shipping priorities and work assignments required to meet shipping schedules.
- Establish operational procedures for verification of incoming and outgoing shipments, handling, and disposition of product.
- Monitor loading operations to ensure compliance with shipping specifications.
- Assign workers to specific duties such as verifying amounts of and storing incoming product and assembling customer orders for delivery.
- Direct the movement of product from processing to appropriate storage or shipping locations.
- Enforce safety regulations within assigned work areas.
- Monitor sanitation practices to be in compliance with USDA standards and company policies.
- Supervise employees to achieve goals and resolve work problems.
Requirements:
