The Opportunity ...
You will be on site in Madera, CA and reports to the Electrical Shop Manager.
On a given day, you may:
- Handles raw materials by retrieving stock from racks, shearing, breaking, and cutting the stock to size, Measures materials properly to be cut, and welded deburring the edges of the material.
- Prepares the appropriate welding equipment or method based on requirements.
- Join / fabricate, and or repair various types of metal objects using an array of welding techniques such as MIG and TIG welding, Carbon Arc, and other techniques.
- Operate grinders, other power tools.
Requirements for the role
- 3-5 years' experience.
- Knowledge of machines in a manufacturing setting
- Ability to read complex blueprints.
- Able to lift a maximum of 40 pounds and stand for an eight-hour work shift.COMPENSATION RANGE: $17.00-$31.00 Hourly. Compensation is determined on experience and skill.
