We have an immediate opportunity for an Quality Inspector to join our team in Chalfont, PA location on our day shift.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible for inspecting incoming and in-process materials for quality against specifications and / or drawings
- Examines materials from suppliers before sending them to production.
- Approves or rejects incoming parts. Performs inspections.
- Records pass/fail grade of products.
- Conduct visual and measurement tests.
- Read blueprints and specifications.
- Inspects products received in from a vendor.
- Uses measuring tools such as micrometer, caliper, tape measure, and other means.
- Returning products for re-work and confirming re-work.
- Document inspection results by completing reports and logs.
- Understands the product as a whole and part.
- Other duties as necessary.
Education and/or Experience
- An Associates of Science degree or Technical School Certification or 2 year industry experience
- Ability to understand and interpret mechanical, electrical and hydraulic engineering drawings.
- Minimum 2 years experience as quality inspector.
- This position requires the following computer skills: Microsoft Word, Excel and Power Point.
- SyteLine, Epicor or comparable ERP system experience preferred
