The Opportunity ...
The RCI (Relentless Continuous Improvement) Manager will work with the organization to improve our business processes to allow our organization to respond to all aspects of our customer's requirements: order execution, delivered quality, service, and maintenance support. This role is important to improving programs. You will advocate for Lean efforts at all JBT Marel Bevcorp sites by leading efforts to implement lean manufacturing principles. You will report to the Director of Operations.
You will always put customers first by providing the higher quality products and services, to meet all applicable requirements through accountability, teamwork, integrity, and continuous improvement.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- You will manage lean manufacturing strategies to improve operational efficiency and reduce waste.
- You will Conduct value stream mapping and identify opportunities for process improvements.
- Lead Kaizen events and continuous improvement projects.
- You will develop staff in lean methodologies and tools such as 5S and Just-In-Time (JIT).
- Collaborate with multiple teams to promote a culture of continuous improvement.
- Ensure that associated performance management metrics aligned with CI activity are reflecting improvement and sustainment when in control phase.
- Foster and lead the development of CI teams.
EDUCTION AND SKILL QUALIFICATIONS
Mandatory Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Industrial Management, Occupational Safety, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in lean manufacturing within an OEM or manufacturing environment.
- Experience implementing successful lean programs and safety programs.
- Knowledge of lean principles, safety regulations, and industry best practices.
- You will collaborate with diverse teams and influence at all organizational levels.
Great to have skills:
- Knowledgeable in all aspects and disciplines food equipment manufacturing (fabrication/machining/welding/assembly).
- Certification in Lean Six Sigma.
Travel Requirements:
- Some travel required - approximately 15% of the time.
