Position Summary
The Senior Machine Operator at JBT is responsible for the efficient operation of complex machinery and equipment in the production process. This role requires a high level of technical expertise, attention to detail, and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues promptly. The Sr. Machine Operator will operate but not limited to Laser Cutting Machine, Press Brake Machine, CNC Mill, and Cobot Welder.

Key Responsibilities
- Operate Machinery: Efficiently operate and monitor advanced production machinery to ensure optimal performance and output.
- Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on equipment to minimize downtime.
- Quality Control: Conduct regular quality checks to ensure products meet company standards and specifications.
- Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve mechanical issues promptly to maintain continuous production flow.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of production data, maintenance activities, and any issues encountered.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety regulations and protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
- Continuous Improvement: Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and efficiency.

Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in machinery operation or related field preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience operating complex machinery in a manufacturing environment.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in reading and interpreting technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics. Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, stand for extended periods, and perform repetitive tasks.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work collaboratively with team members and other departments.
- Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
