The Working Team Leader, reporting to the Operations Manager, leads an operations team to ensure production and performance commitments are while maintaining their current work expectations. You will train, monitor, and coach team members to ensure compliance with JBT Marel's purpose, vision, values and policies..
On a given day, you may:
- Meet Production Goals: Plan and coordinate team activities to achieve targets in Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost (SQDC).
- Communicate: Share priorities and production need with the team to ensure everyone is committed to meeting customer expectations. Ensure the team works together.
- Support and Feedback: Help team members with technical tasks by providing guidance and expertise. Offer feedback and resolve problems, providing both positive and corrective feedback.
- Continuous Improvement: Lead efforts to reduce work-in-progress inventory, and eliminate redundant efforts.
Requirements for the role
- High school diploma or G.E.D.
- Advanced education in mechanical, mathematical, or other technical fields.
- 3 years in a manufacturing environment with experience in at least one of the following: fabrication, welding, or assembly.
- experienced with training, monitoring and coaching a team. (Preferred)
- JDE and PowerApps experience.

Travel & Location
You will be fully onsite in Madera CA.
COMPENSATION RANGE:
$26.78-$42.58 Hourly. Compensation is determined on experience and skill. This job description is a general description of essential job functions.
