Manufacturing Technician

Overview
We are excited to be seeking a Maintenance Technician, a position within our Madera, California team.

Responsibilities

• The Maintenance Technician takes responsibility to safely and efficiently diagnose and repair machinery throughout the facility.
• Troubleshoot hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, mechanical problems with equipment as directed
• Identify components or parts that need repair or replacement,
• Secure parts and schedule with production for machine availability to perform work.
• Responsible for performing routine building maintenance tasks. (e.g. carpentry; electrical; heating, ventilation, and air conditioning, plumbing, etc.)
• Must operate aerial lift, scissor lift and forklift to service cranes and shop lighting.
• Must understand and have a strong demonstrated commitment to safety to include LOTO procedures.
• Lead and manage all assigned Facilities maintenance projects employee is assigned
• Operate within local organization and accomplish work within existing systems and under supervision
• Adhere to all safety and environmental compliance requirements on site and in field activities
• Lead all assigned projects to ensure Safety, Quality, Delivery and Cost initiative goals are met
• Control and optimize any maintenance departmental spending against assigned budgets
• Continually evaluate equipment for improvement areas
• Execute all assigned projects to be completed on time, and on budget
• Drive Continuous Improvement in all enterprise areas using Lean principles

Experience

• HS Diploma or equivalent experience in a Maintenance field
• Candidate should possess 3 to 5 years of Maintenance experience
• Must be familiar with machining and fabrication procedures.
• Ability to communicate a complete understanding of complex production processes, practices, and techniques
• Read, interpret and apply blueprint and wiring schematic information
• Read, interpret, and apply complex technical information, specification, drawings, and processes
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Must be customer service oriented.
• Ability to understand and follow directions as given.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Ability to evaluate objectively, fairly, and consistently.

Pay: $25.00 - $31.00 per hour
