Job Summary: As a Business Development Road Warrior, you will be the face of our company, building relationships and closing deals with potential clients and partners. This role requires a self-starter with exceptional communication skills and a passion for travel. You will spend a significant amount of time on the road, meeting clients and attending industry events to expand our market presence.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead Generation: Identify and pursue new business opportunities through networking, cold calling, and attending industry events.
  • Relationship Building: Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and key stakeholders to foster long-term business growth.
  • Sales Strategy: Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to develop and implement effective business development strategies.
  • Market Research: Conduct market analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and competitor activities in targeted regions.
  • Negotiation: Prepare and deliver compelling proposals, negotiate contracts, and close deals to achieve sales targets.
  • Reporting: Track and report on sales metrics, providing insights to the management team on progress and challenges.
  • Travel: Commit to frequent travel (up to [insert percentage] of the time) to meet clients and represent the company at industry events.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in business development, sales, or a similar role, preferably in [industry].
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport quickly.
  • Strong negotiation and closing skills.
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently.
  • Willingness to travel extensively and adapt to different environments.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
