Commercial roofing project manager/sales

Job Overview
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Commercial Project Manager to oversee and manage various construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams. This role is crucial in ensuring that projects are completed on time, within scope, and in accordance with client specifications.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage commercial construction projects, ensuring adherence to project timelines and budgets.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors to develop project plans and specifications.
• Review and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to ensure compliance with design requirements.
• Utilize project management software such as Prolog and Bluebeam for documentation and tracking progress.
• Conduct regular site visits to monitor project status, address issues, and ensure quality control.
• Prepare construction estimates and manage contracts with subcontractors and suppliers.
• Implement effective time management strategies to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
• Maintain open lines of communication with stakeholders, providing updates on project status and addressing any concerns.

Skills

• Strong time management skills to effectively prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient in blueprint reading to accurately interpret technical drawings.
• Proven project management skills with a track record of successfully completed projects.
• Knowledge of Bluebeam for collaboration on digital plans and documents.
• Understanding of construction estimating principles to prepare accurate cost assessments.
• Ability to negotiate contracts effectively while maintaining positive relationships with vendors.
• Experience with estimating software is a plus.
