Escrow Title Processor

JC Title Agency is seeking an experienced Title Processor with exceptional attention to detail to join their expanding team. As a full-service title and escrow agency, JC Title operates in multiple states and facilitates closings nationwide. Located on Stephenson Hwy. in Troy, MI, their mission is to prioritize the client’s needs by working collaboratively to ensure every real estate transaction is impeccably accurate. Duties:

• Review and analyze contracts, loan documentation, and other pertinent information, including lender closing instructions, title commitments, and purchase agreements.
• Prepare the CD settlement statements within 1 hour of receiving loan documentation and obtain approval from the Lender/Broker.
• Review the Processing Calendar for assigned deals and confirm the receipt of the CD by the Closer.
• Obtain and review all tax and payoff documents.
• Coordinate and set proper expectations for closings with all associated parties including the Broker/Lender, Real Estate agents, Buyer, Seller, and Attorneys.
• Prepare title policies and other necessary documents
• Ensure compliance with TILA, Fair Housing regulations, and other applicable laws and regulations.
• Assist in resolving titles defects or liens.
• Maintain accurate and detailed records throughout the transaction.

Requirements:

• 2 years of experience as a Title Processor for a Title Insurance company
• MUST have Title Escrow experience to be considered
• Strong understanding of real estate transactions, contracts, loan processes, and regulatory requirements
• Proficient with title insurance policies and procedures
• Familiar with credit analysis and FNMA guidelines
• Comfortable with basic math principles
• Expert when it comes to the details and your organizational skills
• High level of communication internally and externally
• Motivated and passionate about the industry

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
