What are the responsibilities and job description for the Office Furniture Installer position at JC White Architectural Interior Products?
Furniture Lifting, Moving and Installing
· Load, unload, unbox, assemble and disassemble a variety of office furniture at customer sites individually and as a team
· Continuous heavy lifting of furniture and boxes
· Able to achieve installation assembly certification from major furniture manufacturers
· Assist with receiving product in the warehouse
· Operate an electric pallet jack and forklift
Driving
· Able to drive a 24’ box truck (Commercial Driver License not required)
· Maintain a good driving record
· Maintain a valid driver’s license
· Pass a criminal background check
Customer Service
· Interact professionally with customers and all JC White employees
· Maintain a positive, can-do attitude and professional appearance
· Address, report and document issues encountered while at the customers’ site
Missing or damaged furniture
Request for work outside the scope of the project
Request for additional merchandise or services

Job Requirements
Other Skills and Knowledge:
· High school diploma or equivalent
· Ability to proficiently read and write English
· Ability to interpret a floor plan
· Ability to read a tape measure
· Ability to use hand tools and small power tools
· Good hand-eye coordination
· Ability to use a full range of body motion for 3 to 6 hours, including lifting up to 100 pounds, with assistance
