Principal Responsibilities:
We are looking for a part-time enthusiastic and knowledgeable Art Instructor to lead fun, hands-on, and educational classes for students ages 4-13 at our after-school and weekend enrichment classes in Wynnewood. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the visual arts and enjoy fostering creativity, developing artistic skill, and encouraging self-expression through drawing, painting, sculpture, or other artistic medium. Classes would range from 30-60 minutes and focus on concepts, technique, and skill through a series of activities and projects. Our ideal candidate has experience leading groups of children through activities and can create appropriate course materials and activities. All materials for activities will be supplied. A degree is not required for this role, at least some college is preferred. Pay ranges from $40-$60 per class session.

Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver interesting art lessons and activities tailored to the age, interests, and skill level of participants.
- Teach various art techniques including drawing, painting, sculpting and other mediums while encouraging creativity and self-expression.
- Provide individualized feedback and support to help students develop their skills.
- Manage class time effectively to ensure all activities are completed within the allotted session.
- Prepare and maintain all necessary materials and supplies, including setup and cleanup.
- Flexible hours based on the number of classes taught per week.
- Classes may be scheduled during weekdays, evenings, or weekends depending on demand and availability.
- Must be at least 21 years old
- Background in education, visual arts, or related field
- 1-3 years experience working with children
- 1-3 years experience in a Art related field or coursework
- Reliable, punctual, and detail oriented
- Ability to lead, plan, organize, and implement program activities
- Must be able to obtain background clearances, FBI fingerprinting, and child abuse clearances
