Summer Camp Science Specialist

Principal Responsibilities:

Day Camps@The J, a premier summer camp located in Stamford, CT, is looking for a charismatic and energetic person to be our STEM/science specialist. Spend your summer helping to make a difference in our campers' lives while working in a fun, dynamic environment. Our STEM/science specialist will implement and execute lessons that engage campers in fun activities and expand campers knowledge about the STEM/science field.

This is a great job for a teacher who is looking for a fun and engaging summer experience!

An ideal candidate is:

• 21 years old
• Has an degree in teaching and/or a STEM related field
• Has previous experience working with elementary and middle school age children
• Has previous camp experience (preferred but not a must)
• Positive and energetic attitude
  
  

Job Types: Full-time, Contract, Temporary, Internship

Pay: $1,500.00 - $2,000.00 per month

Minimum Qualifications:

• Experience teaching or leading science activities in a school, camp, or educational setting.
• Background in science, STEM, education, or a related field (preferred but not required).
• Passion for working with children and making learning exciting.
• Strong organizational and classroom management skills.
• Creative, energetic, and enthusiastic personality.
