Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and coordinate all off-site trips and excursions for campers, including transportation.
- Ensure all trips are following safety regulations and camp policies.
- Develop detailed itineraries for each trip.
- Manage trip budgets, ensuring all costs are within allocated budgets.
- Organize and ensure the availability of necessary equipment, supplies, and materials for each trip.
- Communicate with external vendors, including transportation companies.
- Work closely with the camp director and other camp staff to ensure coordination and alignment with the overall camp schedule.
- Assist with pre-trip briefings for staff and campers, including safety protocols and trip expectations.
- Keep accurate records of all trip logistics, permissions.
- Previous experience in trip coordination, event planning, or working in a summer camp setting is a plus.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple trips and schedules simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with staff, campers, and vendors.
