Director, Center for Individuals with Special Needs

Principal Responsibilities :

• Create, implement, and supervise social, recreational and educational programs for the special needs population including weekday classes, after school program, weekend, evening, vacation and summer programs, speakers, special events, trips, classes, and support groups.
• Maintain consistent and personal contact with participants and their families.
• Implement new program initiatives.
• Develop strategies in marketing, community collaborations and outreach initiatives.
• Complete all written reporting for grants and outside funding sources.
• Hire, train, and supervise staff.
• Represent the Gural JCC at meetings with community organizations and with funding sources.

Minimum Qualifications :

Salary : 65,000 - $75,000

The Marion & Aaron Gural JCC, a non-profit, non-sectarian community agency located in the greater Five Towns is looking for a Director, Center for Individuals with Special Needs. The Director of our Center for Individuals with Special Needs will manage all programs for children, teens and adults with special needs. This includes all new program development, planning and implementation, completion and maintenance of program records, budgets, marketing materials, statistics, policies, schedules, community and participant outreach.

This role is a full time on site position with occasional evening and weekend hours

Salary : $65,000 - $75,000
