What are the responsibilities and job description for the Infant/Toddler Assistant Teacher position at JCC Early Childhood Center?

Job responsibilities include:
- Actively engaging and interacting with children in their play (ages 6 weeks to pre-K)
- Maintaining classroom cleanliness
- Feeding children
- Changing diapers
- Assisting Lead Teacher in developing lesson plans
- Establishing positive relationships with children and their families.
To be considered for this position, you must be available weekdays between 7:30 AM and 6:00 PM. YOU MUST BE PREPARED TO WORK EVERY AFTERNOON UNTIL 6:00 PM AND 2-3 MORNINGS, NO EXCEPTIONS.
The hourly wage starts at $16.72, depending on education and experience.

Minimum Qualifications: Must be 18 years old, have a high school diploma (or equivalent), and have at least one year of work experience in a childcare setting with infants.
Preferred Qualifications: Associate degree, preferably in Early Childhood Education, or a CDA, and two or more years of work experience in a childcare setting with infants.
