What are the responsibilities and job description for the Front Desk Customer Engagement Specialist (PT) - Chicago / Bernard Horwich JCC position at JCC?
The Front Desk Engagement Specialist (part time) is responsible for providing excellent customer service to the patrons of the Bernard Horwich JCC. As the initial point of contact, the Front Desk Engagement Specialist is a welcoming presence at the front desk, team player and problem solver with a "can-do" attitude that always maintains a positive image of the agency.
Key areas of responsibility :
Customer Engagement
- Own "One J" message, agency mission and integrates these into their daily interactions with the community members we serve.
- Work closely with the Manager, Bernard Horwich to create and maintain a warm, welcoming ambiance in common areas, ensuring appearance and upkeep of the space; possess a driving passion for creating a positive experience.
- Greet every person who enters the building; foster positive relationships.
- Act as a concierge for staff and guests; remain up to date on JCC website; proactively stay informed of all offerings at your location and agency initiatives; up and cross-sell, guide members in program offerings; field JCC Fitness membership inquiries and related services; conduct fitness membership tours as needed.
- Direct members and staff to activities throughout the facility. Support world class service model by actively engaging with customers; take ownership of every situation through resolution. Delegate tasks to co-workers to ensure timely completion, if appropriate. Follow up to ensure customer need has been satisfied (as appropriate.)
Administration & Operations
Days / Hours : Tuesdays 5 : 45PM - 10PM and Sunday Mornings 7 : 45AM - 12PM
Compensation : Hourly
