Position Overview:
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Drivers Education Instructor to join our dedicated team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of road safety, possess excellent communication skills, and be committed to fostering responsible driving habits among learners.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct behind-the-wheel instruction for driver education students.
- Develop and deliver engaging and informative lessons that align with state curriculum standards.
- Provide personalized instruction to meet the unique needs of individual learners.
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages active participation.
- Utilize innovative teaching methods to ensure students not only meet minimum standards but develop a comprehensive understanding of road safety.
- Administer and evaluate driving tests in accordance with state regulations.
- Keep accurate records of student progress and attendance.
Qualifications:
- Valid Ohio Driver's Education Instructor Certification.
- FBI/BCI report no older than 90 days
- Physical no older than one year
- Proven experience as a Drivers Education Instructor.
- Strong knowledge of state driving laws and regulations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of learners.
- Patient and supportive demeanor with a commitment to promoting safe driving habits.
Preferred Qualifications:
-Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field.
- Experience working with diverse student populations.
- Familiarity with local demographics and driving challenges in Columbiana, Jefferson, and Harrison Counties.
